Our green promise
Our ambition is clear: by 2035, we aim to be carbon neutral. That is why we are making targeted investments in innovative solutions and sustainable infrastructure on our campus.
We are taking important steps in terms of energy efficiency and environmentally friendly technologies:
For heating and even cooling our halls, we are increasingly relying on sustainable technology with software-controlled, energy-efficient heat pumps.
Traditional lighting has been replaced by LED technology, resulting in significant energy savings.
Thanks to new façade structures and high-performance glazing, we have optimized the insulation of our buildings.
Not only exhibitors and visitors appreciate the sustainability efforts of Kortrijk Xpo, but VOKA (the Flemish network of enterprises) also recognizes their value. Xpo Group was awarded 8 times in the last years with the Voka Charter for Sustainable Entrepreneurship, a recognition for companies that translate sustainability into specific actions.

Safety as a priority
Safety is and remains a key priority within Xpo Group. Every day, we make significant efforts to create a safe and worry-free environment for our exhibitors, suppliers, visitors, and employees. Through targeted investments in equipment and the expertise of our team, we ensure that every event takes place under the safest possible conditions.
We have a mobile first aid unit and continuously optimize our emergency procedures. Our technical teams regularly follow training courses and exercises, for example in fire safety and first aid, so they can always respond appropriately.
